In late September 2016, I became so agitated and incensed by watching political drama I looked for a meditative outlet. I thought it might be a good idea to take up acrylic painting. I stopped watching TV. Period! None! I taught myself how to paint.
Fast forward to February 8, 2017 approximately 120 days into my venture.
I have completed approximately 30 paintings. Carol posted the work on Facebook as I moved along. Several have sold. I am being featured in a one man show at Cafe Louvre in Edmonds Washington for the entire month of February. Myedmondsnews.com did a very nice article on me that included a video.
In some weird unbelievable way, I have politics to thank for my apparent success. Yikes! “Necessity is the mother all invention” the saying goes.
I’m having a great time.
